We have succeeded in paying dividends every year since inception including:

Ordinary dividends - paid from our stable sources of income, including rental and dividend receipts

Special dividends - paid from the capital profit on the realisation of assets (to the extent that the proceeds are in excess of our capital growth requirements)

LIC dividends - paid from eligible capital gains to allow our shareholders to benefit from the 50% capital gains tax exemption for ATO classified listed investment companies - refer to shareholder benefits section for further details

Other - bonus issues and share buybacks

Proceeds from the sale of our investments are generally reinvested ensuring that our asset base continues to grow and drive our future dividend streams.

Aside from continually monitoring the individual performance of our investments, we pay close attention to market cycles to ensure that our portfolio is properly weighted according to the market outlook for each asset class.

It is our attention and responsiveness to these market cycles that has seen our assets grow substantially.

And, it is this same practice that will grow the value of our portfolio – and your investment – further into the future.
